RESOLUTION OF VECTORS
Resolution of vectors means splitting/resolving a vector in to two perpendicular components .
It is the reverse process of finding resultant .
Horizontal component = F cos θ
Vertical Component = F Sin θ where θ is the
angle the vector F makes with the horizontal
direction

ReplyDeleteIn soccer practice Thato runs 74m in a direction of W30°S, he turns around and walks 22m in a direction of 30° North of East. Graphically determin the resultant displacement of Thato by means of addition of vectora
